SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A man was shot while sitting in his car in Syracuse overnight. It happened at the corner of Hartson and Lydell streets around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Police say Michael Davidson, 37, was waiting for a friend when a man approached him. The man pointed a gun at Davidson and tried to rob him.
avidson told police he was shot in the arm while he drove away. He drove to his Dgirlfriend's house and went to an area Urgent Care and was immediately sent to Upstate University Hospital.
Davidson underwent emergency surgery because the bullet went into his chest. He's currently in serious, but stable condition.
